A mother-of-the-bride has come under fire online after she was criticized for seeking too much attention at her own daughter’s wedding.

Jin and Aky Niwa had their wedding recently, but it was Jin’s mother who caught everyone’s eye because she wore a blue bikini.It’s commonly understood that there are certain fashion rules at weddings.

Typically, you want to avoid anything that might overshadow the bride, like wearing white, overly sparkly, or excessively extravagant outfits.That’s usually the expectation.

However, a recent event has stirred up quite a bit of talk online after a mother-of-the-bride made a memorable entrance at a wedding.

She arrived in a completely see-through dress, which clearly showed the blue bikini she had on underneath.An online photo of the wedding attendees captured the brides along with some family members.

In the image, the woman in the suit is identified as Jin, while the one in the traditional white dress is Aky Niwa. The woman sporting the blue bikini is Jin’s mother, Paulina, aged 57.

Before the wedding, Paulina had mentioned she initially planned on wearing a white gown but changed her mind after her daughter requested she not overshadow her on her big day.Instead, Paulina opted for a colorful ensemble that included the bikini paired with a crystal mesh cover-up.

Though she certainly looked striking, her choice of outfit left many online feeling puzzled.

The dress was so transparent that everything underneath was visible.While she did look gorgeous, the choice of attire did make some guests uncomfortable.

One individual commented online: “That’s so inappropriate to wear underwear at a wedding.”Someone else added: “You’re not the bride and that’s not elegant at all.”
